As the title of this experiment suggests the subject, despite its intimidated spiky shape, is ‘overexposed’.   The inundation of visual information was interfering with the observer’s ability to decipher identity.   ‘Overexposed’ is an analog embodiment of the ‘selfie’ as an extension identity.  In the digital realm, there is an overwhelming obsession with image, particularly, ‘self- image’. Social media feeds are plastered with ‘selfies’; ‘self-generated’ and ‘self-selected’ representations we want others to associate with our identity.
